Nancy (Hamblen) Benedict

(Editor's note.  The following was received from Nancy on 07/14/07)

2007 Update. In 1998 I joined International Masters Publishing in Stamford, CT. Shortly thereafter our office moved to the Union Square area in Manhattan, where I watched in real-time the 9/11 attacks on the Twin Towers.
Retired in 2003 and moved to Pittsboro, North Carolina, a "suburb" of Chapel Hill. Son Ken, his wife Jody, and children Nick and Ally are close by. (Ken's Dad is Dave Benedict, from whom I have been divorced for many years.) Pittsboro is only minutes from UNC and Duke which offer fine medical facilities, to say nothing of exceptional cultural and continuing educational advantages.
I enjoy family, duplicate bridge and travel.

1997 recap. Nancy has 2 grandchildren. In '96 she retired from Reader’s Digest and joined Air Age Publishing in Ridgefield, CT. They publish special interest magazines for flight, car and boat modeling, and computer. Nancy’s special accomplishment was getting herself and her son through the Chappaqua School System.

1982 recap. Married to David Benedict with one son, Ken. Nancy attended U of Colorado & Penn State U before graduating from NYU with a BA. She works in International Marketing for Reader’s Digest. In the summer of '80 she traveled around Southern Africa. Has lived in Chappaqua for last 18 years and enjoys tennis and skiing.
