Patricia (Brown) Tomkins

(Editor's note.  The following was received from Pat on 8/8/07)
Thank you for all of your hard work in helping to get the 2007 reunion together. Here is my recap since our last reunion in 1982.

I celebrated my 25th year of working at the Bay Area Surgery Center this year. The girls at the center and I have become like sisters over the years. We shared many of life’s joys and sorrows together.

In 1984, I was given my first grandchildren. They are twins- a sweet girl and boy. I now have six grandchildren and was recently blessed with a great grandchild.

In 1994, my husband Jerry and I lost our youngest child, Jim, to a drunk driver. On Fathers Day 2004 I lost my dear husband to cancer. Since then I have been staying active with family and friends.

I love to shop. I think that goes back to my days as a salesgirl at Bib and Tucker clothes store during high school. I am trying to get the hang of rose gardening. Looking forward to seeing everyone from HGHS. Best Regards, Pat Tompkins
